With substantial academic credentials, extensive teaching experience, and deep involvement in ministry both to the Jewish people and the Church, our faculty is uniquely suited to the mission of Chosen People Bible Institute.

Mitch Glaser, PhD

Mitch Glaser is a Messianic Jewish believer and alumnus of Biola University’s Talbot School of Theology. He earned a PhD in Intercultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary. He is the co-author of The Fall Feasts of Israel with his wife, Zhava, and co-editor of several books. Mitch’s evangelistic book, Isaiah 53 Explained, is now in thirteen languages with more than 100,000 copies in print. He is in his twenty-seven year as president of Chosen People Ministries and has expanded the mission during his tenure to twenty countries and dozens of cities in North America.

Alan Shore, PhD

Alan Shore is a Jewish believer from New York City who came to faith in Jesus in 1975 in Paris, France. Over the years, he has pursued a multi-faceted calling, including pastoral and drama ministry. Alan has served with Chosen People Ministries for more than twenty-five years in a variety of capacities, including staff writer and national ministries representative. He holds a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary and a PhD in Modern Jewish History and Culture from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California. Alan and his wife, Kirsten, reside in Bellingham, Washington.

Nessim Daniel, PhD

Daniel Nessim is a third-generation Jewish disciple of Jesus. As a British Canadian, he has served with Chosen People Ministries in Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Daniel lives in the greater Seattle area with his wife Deborah, three parrots, and five chickens. As a regional director, Daniel serves in the Northwest and leads a Messianic congregation in Vancouver. Daniel holds a Master of Arts from Regent College and a PhD in Theology and Religion from the University of Exeter. He has authored several books, including Derech Yeshua: The Way of Salvation and Torah for Gentiles? What the Jewish Authors of the Didache Had to Say.

Robert Walter, MDiv

Robert Walter serves with Chosen People Ministries in Brooklyn, New York. Though he is not Jewish, God laid a heavy burden on his heart to proclaim Jesus among God’s chosen people. He holds a bachelor's degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University and a Master of Divinity from the Charles L. Feinberg Center for Messianic Jewish Studies, a partnership between Chosen People Ministries and Talbot School of Theology. He serves as a congregational leader at Beth Sar Shalom in Brooklyn and is the New York regional director of Chosen People Ministries. He also co-hosts The Chosen People radio program with Mitch Glaser and teaches first-year Greek at the Feinberg Center.

Rich Flashman, DMin

Richard Flashman was raised in a Jewish family in Newton, Massachusetts. After reading Isaiah 53 in college, Rich realized Jesus was Israel’s promised Messiah. Rich graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School with a Master of Divinity and a Master of Theology and then moved to Connecticut with his wife, Michelle, and their three boys. There he pastored two EFCA churches and completed work for his Doctor of Ministry in Christian Leadership at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Presently, Rich is the dean of students, director of field education, and a professor at the Feinberg Center. He also helped plant and pastors a Messianic congregation in Brooklyn. Rich also leads the Manhattan branch of Chosen People Ministries.

Brian Crawford, DMin

Brian Crawford received a call to share the gospel with Jewish people after visiting Israel in 2005 and has served with Chosen People Ministries since 2011. He is the ministry’s director of digital evangelism and is focused on explaining the good news of Jesus to Jewish people online. Brian received his Master of Divinity from the Feinberg Center in 2015 and Doctor of Ministry from Talbot School of Theology in 2021. Brian has been married to his college sweetheart Liz since 2007, and they have three young children. The Crawfords spent nine years ministering to Jewish people in the holy land of Brooklyn, NY, but they now reside in Southern California.
